DR MELISSA ANDERSON
BSc (UTS) B Oral Health in Dental Sci (Griffith) Grad Dip Dent (Griffith)
Melissa was born in Balmain attending Birchgrove public school for the first years of her schooling. Melissa spent many years as a dental assistant and practice manager where her passion for dentistry was ignited. She completed a Bachelor of Science at UTS in 2005 and then spent some time on the sunny Gold Coast where she graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Graduate diploma in dentistry, being awarded the Griffith award for academic excellence 3 consecutive years in 2009, 2010, 2011.
Melissa enjoys all areas of dentistry, her particular interests lie within oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry whilst her easy going, gentle approach makes her especially suited to treating nervous patients.
Melissa is a member of the Australian Dental Association Recent Graduates Committee and of the Inner west dental study club.
Outside the dental surgery Melissa loves scuba diving and exploring the world that lies beneath the ocean, spending time in the outdoors and anytime with a great book.
