Dr Christopher Ho graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney, and was the recipient of several awards and scholarship for academic and clinical excellence. He has completed further postgraduate studies in the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) and attained with Distinction a Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) at the esteemed Kings College London.
He is involved with teaching the Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) and the Master in Science (Aesthetic Dentistry) program at Kings College London and is a member of the Planning Committee for the Oral Implant Diploma at the University of Sydney, as well as being a faculty member in the one-year program with the Global Institute for Dental Education/UCLA Masters program in implant dentistry.

Dr. Ho has been in restricted practice, specialising in complex oral rehabilitation and has been widely featured in the media, as well as having published in dental journals. He is a nationally and internationally recognised lecturer and author on implants, complex aesthetic and restorative dentistry with his techniques regularly presented to dental professionals around the world. As well as training dentists in Australia and rest of world, he is a key opinion leader closely involved with evaluation and trials of new dental products for leading dental manufacturers and is at the forefront of the latest developments in dentistry.Dr Ho is a member of the Australasian Osseointegration Society (Dental Implants) and the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

His life motto is “to always strive to improve” and with that in mind, believes in offering his patients the best level of care with that he would offer for his family and friends. Dr. Ho has developed a pre-eminent reputation and is widely known as the dentist that other dentists or dental industry go to when they need dentistry, and has a referral based practice that receives patients with difficult and complex treatment needs from other dentists. With this in mind, in the aim of clinical excellence he still has an empathetic nature and listens to patient needs, trying to understand their concerns whether it be fear, or cost, or complexity and does this in a non-threatening manner. He has transformed countless lives with the treatment that has been performed from cosmetic dentistry to complex restoration of whole mouths with implants and his testimonials from these patients are heart-warming and inspiring.
On a personal level he is married to Melanie, and has two furry kids (dogs) whom he adores (the dogs that is). He tries to play golf with some difficulty, likes eating out but then pays for it by going to the gym or cycling to burn it all off again.

Dr Jemima Neale

Dr. Jemima Neale is committed to providing the highest standard of dental care whilst addressing the needs and comfort of her patients. She is a gentle, caring and trustworthy dentist with excellent communication skills. She is also dedicated to increasing her knowledge by attending continuing education courses both in Australia and overseas. Her particular interests include restorative dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics and implants.
Having an eye for detail and having always been particularly interested in surgery, Dr. Neale began her career in dentistry and graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney.

Throughout her dentistry degree, Jemima was presented with numerous awards in successive years for her consistent hard-work and tireless efforts including the HJV Cusak Memorial Prize, The Oral Health Foundation Elective Scholarship and the Dental Alumni Society Award II.
In her graduating year, she was awarded the prestigious Rudolf Gunz University Medal, The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Prize for the most outstanding Honours Project, The Martin Halas Prize for Proficiency and Professionalism in all Clinical Components and The John Stephen Hill Memorial Prize for Proficiency in Clinical Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Neale is a member of The Australian Dental Association.

Dr Martin Nash

Dr Martin Nash is the newest addition to our team at Dentistry by Design.
Dr. Martin Nash is a highly experienced and committed dentist who is an excellent fit with our high standards and patient friendly philosophy.

He has practiced in London and ran his own successful practice in Westmead for many years. Dr Nash believes that good communication and patient involvement in treatment is one of the most important aspects of providing a high level of care.
Treatment decisions are best a co-operative effort between Dentist & Patient.
As a member of The Australian Asian Association of Dentists, The Endodontic Society, The Australian Dental Association he has a strong commitment to continuing education and keeping up to speed in all aspects of Dentistry. Participation in recent and ongoing courses & seminars in Restorative, Endodontic, Periodontic & Implant Dentistry ensure a fully modern and up to date approach.
When not at work Martin is a keen golfer who also enjoys family, travel, jazz and keeping fit.
He says he is really enjoying working with our great team and meeting our interesting & delightful client base.

Dr Firoz Vellani
MBBS
Dr. Firoz Vellani attained his medical degree in 1992 from the University of Sydney. He went on to do further training in the fields of Anaesthetics, Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Vellani has over 10 years experience in providing dental sedation.
He developed a special interest in this area and currently provides this service to many leading dentists and dental specialists in Sydney - including oral surgeons, endodontists and prosthodontists. He also has extensive experience in providing sedation for patients undergoing dental implants. Dr. Vellani also practices Emergency Medicine in two busy Emergency Departments in the Sydney area. Dr. Vellani supervises sedation procedures at the practice.

Dr John Vassiliadis
MBBS, FACEM.
Dr. Vassiliadis is an Emergency Medicine Specialist who is currently working at Royal North Shore Hospital. He trained and was a specialist at Westmead Hospital. He has had training in sedation, anaesthesia, trauma management, trauma ultrasound and toxicology. Currently he is also a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Australian Navy Reserves and recently was part of Australia's medical relief force that was sent to Indonesia after the Tsunami.
He has a keen interest in medical education and is involved in training doctors at all levels.
Dr Vassiliadis supervises sedation procedures at Institute for Dental Implants.

Victor Lee

Victor is a registered Oral Health Therapist; the latest occupation to the dental sector; he is able to offer holistic treatment in conjunction with the dental team, making Dentistry by Design at the forefront of dentistry.
As an Oral Health Therapist, Victor provides both dental hygiene and therapy (paediatric) services. Not only does he actively promote comprehensive dentistry and maintenance, he can also offer you comprehensive dietary counselling, personalised home oral hygiene recommendations, and assist in smoking cessation.

His professional and caring attitude will ensure that your concerns are well addressed in a relaxed and professional manner. With a strong interest into Dental Implants, Victor completed his final year thesis on Dental Implants and Surgical Considerations for the Oral Health Practitioner. He has also been bestowed with the Colgate Prize for Dental & Health Science for outstanding effort in second year, as well as high distinctions in both Dental Photography & Radiography.
He is committed to continuing education, and is currently completing a specialised radiography (OPG) course. Victor is a member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia, and the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside dentistry, Victor has a strong interest in technology and computers. He also has a soft spot for small animals, and is looking forward to meeting with you in your next hygiene visit.

Suzanna Joseph

Born in Oxfordshire in the UK, Suzanna moved to London in 2002 to attend the Eastman Dental Hospital and was awarded a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2004. Whilst also obtaining a diploma in Dental radiography in 2003 from City University, London.
Suzanna worked part-time in Guy’s hospital London treating patients with specialist needs whilst also working in a Central London Private Practice. She moved to Sydney in 2009 and undertook her registration examination to become a Dental Hygienist in Australia. She believes in treating all her patients with the highest quality care possible, with a caring and friendly manner.
Suzanna enjoys keeping fit, reading, cinema and cooking. She is currently planning her wedding to Mathew in October and is very much looking forward to her honeymoon!

Jessica graduated from the BOH degree at University of Newcastle in 2007. With over 10 years experience in the dental industry Jessica love to take care of people, and provide the best dental hygiene services in a relaxed, caring environment. Jessica enjoys many areas of dentistry but her main passion is to help nervous patients overcome their phobia of the dentist.
Jessica is a dedicated team member and always seeks ways in developing her skills in the latest dental hygiene technology. Jessica holds a number of Certifications in dental procedures and patient care.
In her spare time Jessica enjoys a good game of golf on her weekends off and going out with family and friends.
Jessica has been a part of our team for the past year and is an active member of the Australian Dental Hygienist Association and ADA.

Kathleen Sutherland

Kathleen Sutherland was a dental assistant in the UK prior to graduating with Honours as a Dental Therapist in 1965 in Christchurch, NZ. She has always had a keen interest in all things dental, as she comes from a family of dentists.
In 1995, Kathleen graduated as a Dental Hygienist at the University of Otago. She was in a class of 16, being the first dental hygienists to graduate in New Zealand. She then worked in Christchurch, New Zealand for five years as a hygienist before relocating to Sydney in 2000. She has been working at Dentistry by design since 2005.
Her interests include Preventative Dental Hygiene Practice, Elderly Oral Health & Cosmetic Enhancements. Kath frequently attends continuing education courses and is a member of the Dental Hygiene Association

Dr Eddie Medina

Eddie Medina has been working within the dental field for more than twenty years, as a dentist, trainer and assessor and practice manager. He graduated from Alhambra High School in Phoenix, Arizona, United Sates of America and continued his tertiary education at the University of Chile, Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Health Administration, receiving his Bachelor Degree in Dentistry in 1986 and Diploma of Health Institutions Management in 1990.
He was a dentist and practice manager for one of the largest health insurance companies in Santiago, Chile, effectively running a fifteen chair dental clinic for more than ten years.
He has successfully completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Certificate IV in Frontline Management. Eddie is aiming to complete the Diploma of Professional Practice Management this year.
He is currently the Practice Manager for Institute for Dental Implants and its associate entity Dentistry by design and also works as a Trainer and Assessor within the dental assisting and practice management field.
When not at work or studying, he spends most of his spare time with his son Alejandro, who is only six years old and chatting with his daughter Tamara who is at university in Chile.
